If you have been putting off cleaning your house because you don’t want to deal with the mess, then you can start small by going through your closet first. Set aside garments that are too small or you no longer wear. Take your excess items and donate them to a local shelter. By cleaning your closet, you can free up space in your house and do something good at the same time.

4. Start a journal

Organizing your thoughts and ideas can be a therapeutic exercise, especially if you want to fight boredom and anxiety. You can start a handwritten journal, or open an online blog, whichever method suits you better. Journaling is an excellent way to deal with frustration, relieve tension, and confront feelings that you find difficult to share with other people. Sometimes, just seeing your thoughts translated into words can make you feel better.

5. Learn a new skill

There is an endless number of free learning resources online. Youtube has millions of cooking tutorials and DIY projects that you can try.
